In teaching the racing engine school, we have taught hundreds of racing engine enthusiasts to
degree a cam.
This worksheet helps you degree your cam, and
calculate your specs, with or without a cam card. Determine open and
close events for both intake and exhaust, lift at the lobe, lift at the
valve, duration, lobe separation angle, intake and exhaust centerlines,
advance or retard amount. The only spec not included is the
manufacturer's recommended installed intake centerline!
